Two young Czech entrepreneurs identify a market opportunity: social media and customer service are disconnected. They come up with an idea to blend the two business processes with software. Brand Embassy is born.
We sell in the idea to our first client, Telefonica O2 in the Czech Republic, before a single line of code is written. A few months later, version 1.0 of the Brand Embassy platform is launched. It looked very different back then, but the idea was still the same!
We expand quickly within our home market of the Czech Republic, and soon we have 100% coverage of all local mobile operators and more than half of the locally based retail banks.
Momentum grows with industry and peer recognition. We win the prestigious Top 100 Red Herring Europe Award, and are covered by Forbes, Forrester and TrustRadius
Advisors and investors from Johnson & Johnson, and Telefonica O2 join Brand Embassy and we raise $1.8 million in seed funding to fuel our impressive growth. We surpass 100 customers.
We hit 200% year-on-year growth. Our growing product and commercial teams deliver amazing results, and we outgrow our offices (twice).
We sign our first US client and senior telco executive Terrence Valeski joins our Board of Directors to further solidify our presence in the market.
